Remembering Howard T. Kaneff
On August 10th, 2022 Arkay absorbed the shocking – and very sad – news that Howard Kaneff, Arkay’s second generation leader and Chairman Emeritus, had passed away in his Southampton residence.
This video articulates through past footage and interviews, how this gifted man helped to shape Arkay from the time he inherited leadership when his own father – Arkay’s founder, Max Kaneff – passed away. His encouragement prepared his son Mitchell, the third generation leader of Arkay, and his grandsons Josh and Max to continue Arkay’s legacy of custom luxury packaging.
Highlighting his actions and intellect, the video shows how Howard Kaneff infused Arkay with his ambition, passion and vision, creating a company able to withstand war, changing attitudes, and a crippling recession to move successfully into its second century in business.
